WATER

By consolidating post harvest processing, we provide consistent uniform output results.

More importantly, water utilization becomes more efficient, particularly in waste water treatment.

Water rehabilitation, and conservation is a major goal for ART Farm, and CFET.

SOIL

The utilization of waste material from dried leaves, to discarded coffee pulp, and used coffee grinds, creates value is so many ways.

The bio waste is turned into biochar, and organic fertilizer from both worm digestion, and through bacterial activity.  We regenerate the soil by replacing chemicals with organic nutrients.

Carbon is returned to the soil to be sequestered for the ages.  Healthier soil, makes for better quality coffee plants, and coffee fruit.

AIR

Although carbon emissions from coffee roasting is not a major contributor to global warming, the smoke and aroma of coffee roasting may impact communities and neighbors if roasting is continuous.

We recycle much of our smoke producing activities through air scrubbing and filtration systems, to produce “smoke vinegar” as a by-product for spraying plants as an insecticide / repellent.

PEOPLE

Our entire coffee activity is a continuation of the work started by our beloved late King Rama IX the great.

Coffee was a replacement crop for opium, and is now a major part of the hill tribes livelihood.

By improving the quality of the environment, air, water, and soil, we help to improve the quality of coffee, enabling certification fit for export. The direct trade coffee farm marketplace allows for the farmers to gain control of their future, and be more self reliant and free.
